It's important to note, however, that some devices require extra power as they start up. The device may only require 800 watts to run consistently, for example, but it will require 1200 watts to start up. Be sure to factor this into your power equipment wattage requirements.

Choose a Power Supply

Power equipment tends to run off of propane, gasoline, diesel, or solar. The different options offer different perks, such as availability of fuel or environmental impact.
